Fish Cooking Hints

Here you will find all that you need to turn our fresh frozen fish items into delicious and healthy dinners................

Tuna steaks
Marinate and grill or barbecue for 6-8 minutes each side.

Haddock and salmon tart
Cook from frozen in a pre-heated oven at 200 ºC for 15-20 mins. Leave for 2 mins. before removing foil case.

Tuna and mozzarella fish cakes
For best results, deep fry from frozen for 6-8 minutes.

Breaded haddock, Salmon fillets in lemon crumb, Breaded Cod
For best results, deep fry from frozen for 5-10 minutes, or shallow fry for 10-12mins.

Breaded scampi
For best results, deep fry from frozen for 3-4 minutes.

Cod and haddock fillets
Cook from frozen, serve with Jersey butter and Holme-Grown parsley.

Coquilles St Jacques
Cook from frozen in a pre-heated oven at 200 ºC, Gas mark 7 for 20 mins.

Prawns, King Prawns, Seafood cocktail
Already cooked, just defrost and serve.

Mussels
Boil in the bag for 5 minutes, serve piping hot.

Langoustines
These are raw and will need boiling until heated through after defrosting.
