Vegetable Cooking Hints

Broad Beans
Cook in boiling salted water for 2-3 mins, best eaten with skins removed!

Roasting Vegetables or Potatoes
Spread the frozen veg in roasting tray or around a joint, coat with olive oil and roast for 45+ mins in a hot oven (Tuscan veg, 15 mins) For roasted sliced potatoes, bake in moderate oven for 20 mins, turning once.

Grilled Vegetables
Spread the frozen veg in a shallow tray, dribble with olive oil and bake for 8-12 mins in the top of a very hot oven.

Breaded Garlic mushrooms
Heat in oven at 225 ºC for 12 mins, or lightly fry.

Onion rings
Deep fry for 2-3 mins

Steakhouse Fries
Deep or shallow fry, or bake in hot oven

Vegetable Hash Browns
Cook from frozen in a pre-heated oven at 220 ºC, Gas mark 8 for 20 mins. Turn over half way through.
